It’s been more than a week since the start of the new year, but the talk of the town is still the hottest parties that welcomed 2018. Among them is a series of parties thrown by the polo-playing royal of Jaipur, Padmanabh Singh, and Gem Palace’s Samir Kasliwal. The duo did things a little differently – they had a festive ‘Goodbye 2017’ party, which was followed by a rocking New Year’s eve bash.

Guests at the end-of-the-year party in the pink city wrapped themselves in furry jackets and wore glittery headgear and face masks in keeping with the theme – Maharaja Punk. Singh was spotted wearing white slim fit pants and a button down shirt with a black suede bandhgala jacket. He also accessorised with ear studs and kohl-lined eyes.

The New Year eve’s party, on the other hand, was brought in at Kasliwal’s Jaipur farmhouse, which was transformed into an Egyptian dreamland with an ancient disco theme. Now that’s a good start to the year.
