Maha Kumbh beauty Monalisa takes her first flight, wins hearts in Kerala with special Malayalam greeting

Monalisa Bhosle, the 16-year-old sensation from Mahakumbh, continues to make headlines with her latest public appearance in Kerala. The young viral star, who gained immense popularity during the Prayagraj Mahakumbh, recently attended a promotional event in Kozhikode hosted by businessman Boby Chemmanur. This visit marked a significant milestone for Monalisa as it was her first-ever flight experience.

First Flight Experience Goes Viral

Monalisa, who hails from Khargone, Madhya Pradesh, boarded a plane for the first time on February 14. She shared a video from her journey, captioning it, "Pahli baar flight me bethi hu." The video quickly gained traction on social media, with fans showering her with love and excitement. Her trip to Kerala was part of an invitation from Boby Chemmanur, who had announced her visit earlier through an Instagram post.

At the event, Monalisa surprised the crowd by speaking in Malayalam. A video capturing the moment went viral, where she greeted the audience with "Namaste Kerala…Ellarkkum sughamalle," which translates to "Namaste Kerala, is everyone doing well?" The gesture won hearts, with many praising her effort to connect with the local audience.


Social media was flooded with appreciation for Monalisa. One fan commented, “Ellarkkum sugham (We all are doing fine),” while another wrote, “Moni supar.” Another user shared, “I am happy for her... God chose to bless her; who are we to question?”

A New Beginning in Cinema

Monalisa’s growing popularity has opened new doors for her in the entertainment industry. She has bagged the lead role in the upcoming film The Diary of Manipur, directed by Sanoj Mishra, known for his work on The Diary of West Bengal. She will star opposite Amit Rao, the brother of Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao, who is making his debut in the industry.

Director Sanoj Mishra spoke about his decision to cast Monalisa, saying, "Bahut hi innocent log hain yeh, banjare hai! I was impressed with her innocence, simplicity, and natural looks, but what followed was horrible and so disturbing. So, I searched for her and met her parents and family members about the film and all aspects. Now, I have more responsibility to present her and make her career. I’m starting her workshop in Indore for a fortnight and after that, we will shift her to Mumbai where the workshop will continue."

He further revealed, “We are starting the film in London with Amit Rao for a week, and from April, the film will be shot from start to finish in Manipur as it’s a story of love and violence. After training, she will be joining the cast as the leading lady."

Monalisa’s journey from selling garlands at Kila Ghat near the Narmada River to becoming an internet sensation is nothing short of inspiring. Her life took a turn when a content creator filmed her selling rudraksha garlands during the Mahakumbh, leading to her overnight fame. Since then, she has been navigating her newfound celebrity status while exploring new opportunities.
