Actor R Madhavan was recently conferred the highly-esteemed Padma Shri award - one of India’s highest civilian honours. While receiving the Padma Shri, one of the evening’s most celebrated moments, the actor drew admiration not only for the prestigious honour but also for his refined sense of style. His sophisticated outfit and a rare, high-end luxury timepiece on his wrist quickly became a talking point among watch collectors and enthusiasts, sparking widespread discussion across social media and fashion circles.

Madhavan appeared dapper in an elegant navy blue bandhgala-style ethnic ensemble combined with matching traditional trousers. He paired the look with rimless glasses, a gold chain and brown leather strap watch.

The timepiece he wore quickly became the star of the show. One of the most memorable features of the watch was its hand-painted marble dial, inspired by Jaipur’s Hawa Mahal. The artwork is inspired by Rajasthan’s rich miniature painting tradition.

This model is also very rare. So far, only 10 pieces of the watch are available and each piece costs more than Rs 40 lakh.
