Madhavan can’t stop praising brilliant forest officer who gave a dying baby monkey a second chance at life: ‘He picked up the body and….’

Tamil superstar Madhavan recently hailed a forest officer for his quick thinking that gave a dying animal a second chance at life. Taking to Instagram, the ‘3 Idiots’ star shared the story of Arun PR, a forest officer from Kerala, whose quick thinking brought an electrocuted baby monkey back to life. His story was shared by The Better India on their Instagram handle.

Near the Golden Valley checkpost in Thiruvananthapuram, some monkeys were playing, but one of them accidentally touched a livewire. Within seconds, it was electrocuted and collapsed unconscious.

While patrolling the Ponmudi forest area, beat forest officer Arun PR noticed the injured monkey lying motionless on the ground and immediately sprang into action. Acting without hesitation, he gently lifted the unconscious animal and began administering CPR on the forest floor, making every effort to revive it as quickly as possible. The baby monkey was revived in no time and returned to his mother.


“Minutes later, the effort paid off. The baby monkey slowly regained consciousness.Once stable, it was carefully taken back to its mother, who embraced it before leading it safely back into the forest…” wrote the post.

The superstar is known to share several interesting stories on his Instagram. Days ago, he shared the story of a mother-son duo from Bihar who built a successful thekua business which was worth Rs 75 crore.

According to reports, the food brand Mom's Made was founded by Veena Devi and her son, Sameer. Starting with only four cooking stoves, the venture has grown into a thriving enterprise that now processes nearly 1,000 orders every day and generates an annual turnover of around ₹15 crore.

As reported by The Economic Times, Sameer's vision was to introduce his mother's traditional thekua recipe to consumers across the country without compromising its authentic taste and heritage. To preserve its homemade appeal while offering a healthier alternative, the company reportedly prepares the snack using whole wheat flour and jaggery instead of refined flour and white sugar. The recipes are also said to be free from palm oil and artificial preservatives, staying true to the brand's focus on natural ingredients and traditional cooking methods.
