Storyline Rooted in 1980s Allahabad

The narrative of Maalik is set against the turbulent backdrop of late 1980s Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh. The story revolves around Deepak, played by Rao, a young man from a modest farming family. His world shatters when his father, portrayed by veteran actor Rajendra Gupta, is gravely injured while trying to protect his employer’s farmland from hostile encroachers. Consumed by rage and a sense of injustice, Deepak tracks down the culprit, a feared man nicknamed Langda, and eliminates him in an act of brutal retribution.
