iOS 15, HomeOS & more: What to expect from Apple's WWDC; how to stream it live

Apple will kick-off its annual developer conference, the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), from June 7-11, which will be held virtually this year due to the ongoing pandemic.

The tech giant will hold its biggest software-focused event tonight where the Chief Executive Officer will most likely give a keynote, followed by software releases for Apple's operating systems, according to reports.

What to expect at WWDC 2021

iOS 15 update:
The iOS 15 update may bring changes to notifications and iMessages. For notifications, Apple users may see different notification settings for driving, working, sleeping, or even a custom category. Whereas for iMessage, Apple is apparently working on features to make it act like "more of a social network" to compete with Facebook's WhatsApp.

iPadOS 15
There are reports suggesting that iPadOS 15 will bring an update to the home screen which will allow users to customize the widget position as per their want.

Macos, Watchos 8, And Tvos 15
So far, not much is yet revealed about software updates for the Mac, Apple Watch, and Apple TV but a lot is expected. Apart from witnessing some new changes to the software, Apple might also introduce a brand-new operating system called 'HomeOS'. At present it is not clear for which device exactly is this OS for, but we will soon find out at the WWDC event in a few hours.

What time does WWDC start?
The Apple keynote event will start at 10:30 pm IST. After the keynote, developer sessions will be available online via the Apple Developer site or the Apple Developer application.
