Luxe, Uninterrupted: Versace to set up shop at Delhi's DLF Emporio

The interest from luxury brands to set up shop in India seems to continue. There’s Christian Dior’s new boutique store in New Delhi, housing skincare, makeup and perfumes.

The swish set is also excited at Versace Collection coming down to the capital by the end of 2016.

The task of bringing down a luxury brand, naturally, comes with its own set of challenges. Versace Collection will be based in Delhi’s DLF Emporio mall and the hunt for the ideal address was quite a task, reveals Salesh Grover, business head of OSL Luxury Collections, the company behind getting the brand to India. “Due to the space scarcity and availability of luxury malls in India, we faced some challenges in bringing the brand here,” says Grover.

Spread across an area of 2,200 sq ft, the store will be on the first floor of the mall and will have Hermès and Valentino as its neighbours.
