The audience just can’t get enough of the hair-raising thriller which picks up seven years after where ‘Drishyam’ left off. The film’s protagonist Vijay Salgaonkar is now an aspiring movie producer. He appears wealthier and more confident in his outlook. But he is still determined to keep his family from the clutches of Meera Deshmukh, a former inspector who is still hell-bent on seeking revenge from the Salgaonkar family as she believes they are responsible for the death of her son Sam.

Released in 1999, this thriller was groundbreaking for its time. The movie had a water-tight screenplay, no songs, no A-list stars apart from Matondkar (who puts up a performance of a lifetime).
In the end, there are three dead bodies and one killer who grins maniacally and waits for the next victim. Do give it a watch. We promise you won’t regret it.
