During this party season, there's one CEO in demand — HolidayIQ's founder Hari Nair. He's often the life of the party thanks to his passion, playing the bongos. "It's a pretty new hobby. I started about two years ago. But I have always been comfortable with rhythm and learnt to play the mridangam as a child," Nair says.

The self-taught musician watched videos on the internet to learn to play, along with the occasional class to up his bongo skills. "I love playing my standard Latin bongo combos. However, now I"m starting to experiment with "70s Bollywood numbers," Nair says. While he usually only plays on the weekends, the bongos are a part of his personality. "Playing percussion comes without much effort. The rhythm takes over and I'm absorbed in it — there is no thinking which is really liberating."
