Love Marriage OTT release date announced: When and where to watch Vikram Prabhu's Tamil romantic film

After a modest theatrical run earlier this year, the 2025 Tamil film Love Marriage, starring Vikram Prabhu, is now ready to reach a wider audience via OTT. The romantic family drama, which quietly made its theatrical debut in June, is all set to stream on Prime Video. With its warm mix of emotions, humour, and relationship dynamics, the film promises a relatable and entertaining watch.

The makers officially announced that the film will be available on Amazon Prime Video starting August 29. Love Marriage marks the directorial debut of Shanmuga Priyan, a former associate of director Anand Shankar. The film explores the journey of a man goes through the pressures of marriage, love, and societal expectations. Vikram Prabhu takes the lead as a middle-aged bachelor whose search for a suitable bride leads to an arranged marriage that doesn’t go as planned.

The film is a Tamil remake of the well-received Telugu movie Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam, which starred Vishwak Sen. While the original found its audience for its fresh take on arranged marriages, Love Marriage aims to localise the narrative with a strong Tamil cultural backdrop and familiar social nuances.

Starring opposite Vikram Prabhu is Sushmitha Bhat, who plays the female lead. The supporting cast includes familiar names such as Meenakshi Dinesh, Ramesh Thilak, Aruldoss, Gajaraj, Muruganantham, and Kodangi Vadivelu. veteran actor Sathyaraj also makes a brief but impactful cameo.


Technically, Love Marriage is backed by a competent crew. Music is composed by the acclaimed Sean Roldan, whose score adds emotional depth to the narrative.
