LOTR star Elijah Wood in Mumbai - and it's not for a movie

Elijah Wood is coming to Mumbai but it's not to promote a movie. The Lord of The Rings actor has another passion that not many people know of - DJ-ing. Wood and his DJing partner Zach Cowie - the duo call themselves Wooden Wisdom - will perform at the Trilogy nightclub on Thursday night at 7pm.

Entry to the gig is priced at Rs.1000. Also playing will be DJ Fitz, Muxka Jar, and Gently Altered's Stars G.A.D and Fuzzy Logic. Wood has been DJing as a hobby for the past 15 years and is finally taking his talents public.

It seems that the Wooden Wisdom duo has existed for at least a year, with their only mix "Cosmic Clearance" boasting a funky little jazz and 80s combo. A representative of Wood said that the purpose of his visit is to promote his so far hidden musical talent as an underground DJ. Wood and Cowie will also perform in Delhi and Hyderabad later in the week.
