Kriti Sanon, who was last seen in director Homi Adajania’s Cocktail 2, also starring Shahid Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna, impressed fashion enthusiasts with her on-fleek style streak in the movie. From tanned avatars to flowy, free-spirited outfits, Kriti’s feisty wardrobe picks and flawless beauty makeovers had fans swooning. Recently, the 36-year-old shared another reason for makeup lovers to celebrate. She revealed her secret to achieving radiant and dewy skin for a glamorous evening outing, be it with the love of your life or with your friends.

Kriti Sanon’s perfect dewy base

Kriti Sanon, in an interaction with Vogue, spilled the secret to her evening glam, using simple products that you can easily incorporate into your own makeup routine. For skin prep, Kriti used a clay mask and spread it evenly on her skin with her bare hands. Next, she used a mist spray that the actress claimed to have been using ‘forever’. Its homemade formula uses rose water and glycerin for a hydrated feel.

Her makeup routine also involved applying a water- and oil-based face serum, acting as a nourishing boost for the skin. Since it was evening, Kriti Sanon ditched wearing sunscreen and instead went with a moisturiser. For that tinted-dewy effect, Kriti’s next pick was a tinter, which she used just beneath her eyes for a brightening glow.

Blush, bronze and eye definition

Instead of directly using a bronzer, Kriti Sanon mixed it with a dollop of moisturiser for a natural allure. Admitting that she has dry skin, Kriti revealed that she prefers a creamy concealer over matte ones that make her skin look flatter. As for contour, the actress noted that she developed a liking for the contouring technique after working in Cocktail 2, although only in certain areas of her face.

During the conversation, Kriti Sanon shared that she suffers from ‘blush blindness’ and owns over 500 blush shades. For her current look, she dabbed her makeup brush into a pink and peach-hued blush before applying the product evenly around her cheeks in a circular motion. She used it around her eyes too, to make them pop up more.

After that, Kriti Sanon used a brown colour pencil to define her upper waterline - a hack that she claimed requires some practice but gives real definition to the eyes. Eyelash curls and mascara were a part of her makeup as well, with Kriti disclosing that she can curl up her lashes even in a moving car. Since Kriti’s a fan of blush, she used some more on the high points of her cheeks — this time in a pretty red colour.

Some bronzer and a dash of highlighter added colour and shine to Kriti Sanon’s face. For the lips, she used a dark brown liner and painted her lips with a mix of earthy-toned shades, as her lipsticks do not stay on her lips for long. So, it’s layering that works for the actress. A little brow gel on both her eyebrows, a setting powder all over her face and voila! Kriti’s evening glam makeup is ready to rock.
