Logitech's new MX Master mouse can work on any surface

Hot on the heels of Logitech’s ‘best mouse ever’ MX Master, the company has launched its mini, travel-friendly version — the MX Anywhere 2. It’s a wireless mobile mouse that connects with a computer with a USB port as well as Bluetooth. If you go with Bluetooth, you can pair the mouse with up to three devices and switch between a laptop, desktop or tablet using the appropriately named Logitech Easy-Switch button.

Ergonomically, it is not as comfortable as its predecessor MX Master. But, it’s comfortable for a small mobile mouse designed to fit in the side pocket of a laptop bag easily. It weighs approximately 106 grams. And with its Logitech Darkfield laser technology, the mouse can flawlessly work on virtual ly any surface, including glass and high-gloss surfaces. The MX Anywhere 2 also charges quickly.

According to Logitech, using the mouse six hours a day under typical office conditions the battery life lasts up to two months. Need a recharge? Simply plug MX Anywhere 2 into your computer with the charging cable. A key feature of the mouse is its hyper-fast scroll. It allows users to scroll through long documents and web pages faster and easier. Otherwise, press on the wheel and shift to click-to-click mode for precise navigation. While it is priced at $80 (Rs 5,100 approx) in the US, there is no word yet when it will be released or how much it will cost in other countries
