Rustom Lawyer says he cannot live without his iPad Pro and iPhone 12.
Rustom Lawyer, Founder, Augnito, tells ET Panache how he stays organised with tech while he works from home:
Levelling up "There has been an evident spike in the screen time, thanks to zero human interaction and consecutive zoom meetings. But I have always loved exploring new technology and it’s an integral part of my business. So my relationship with tech hasn't really changed; I am as invested as I used to be."
Gadget guide "I cannot live without my iPad Pro and my iPhone 12. Apple’s seamless integration makes life very simple across devices. The brand’s fundamentals, simplicity in operation and sophisticated design make it my go-to choice. Plus, I am a huge fan of Steve Jobs’ approach towards technology and human-centred design. I swear by my Apple Watch. My friends and I compete to achieve fitness goals, keeping us all motivated and committed. When it comes to noise cancelling, nothing beats bluetooth headphones with their noise cancellation feature have been a great investment."
App affect "I believe in constant learning, so my favourite apps are all centred around that. I would recommend Blinkist summarizes books facilitating quick consumption of information; Masterclass to access lectures from my favourite experts across fields; and Singularity that helps stay in touch with global change makers and get access to new technology like AI, augmented reality, etc. When it comes to work, I do have an assistant who ensures my commitments are fulfilled, but the Google Calendar has been a blessing for seamless coordination and timely reminders."

“I have fine-tuned my baking skills. Although my wife Benaisha and I aren’t vegan, the rest of the house is. So, during the lockdown, vegan baking took centrestage. Benaisha makes the best chocolate mousse cake. It’s made with dates, almond flour and coconut milk — it’s a huge hit. I find baking therapeutic. It’s a precise activity where the outcome is as perfect as the work that goes into it. If you follow the instructions, the end result is good. I love that.”

Staying at home, I’ve had the time and leisure to introspect, about things left behind and the invaluable lessons I’ve learnt. It’s been great to purge myself of the mental and physical baggage I’d been carrying.”
