Taking to X, Anupam Kher described the beauty of his surroundings, mentioning “golden leaves underfoot”, tall trees and a calm lake. He reflected on how nature can make a person feel “wonderfully small” and help put things into perspective.

As he continues working with dedication on his 556th film, the actor said the stillness around him was helping him find “a little more silence within myself”. He also expressed gratitude for the peace the beautiful location had brought him, adding that he remained passionate about his work.

Anupam Kher announced his 556th film, Out of Fashion, in an Instagram post. The Swedish-Belgian film has given the actor an opportunity to work with an international team and explore a story in a different language and setting.

Recalling a line he had read in a film book, Kher wrote, “Cinema has no language.” He explained that working on the project had helped him understand the meaning of those words, as emotions such as tenderness, hope, fear and love can connect people without translation.

Kher expressed gratitude for being part of the film and said he was enjoying a role that had touched him. He also praised award-winning director Jens Jonsson and producers Julia Gebauer and Siri Hjorton Wagner.

The actor thanked Sunil Munshi, the film's writer and actor, for bringing the personal story and its team together. He also mentioned co-stars Helena Bergström, Bahar Pars and Krista Kosonen.
