Lisa Bonet makes rare appearance at Paris Fashion Week in waist-length silver locs

Lisa Bonet caught quite a bit of attention with her long locs at the Celine show during Paris Fashion Week, on Saturday, October 3. She styled her hair loose over a long taupe coat with an all-black outfit look, according to InStyle. She also completed the look with round sunglasses, black heeled boots and layered necklaces. According to the photos from Backgrid, her long locks rested over one shoulder, with silver strands mixed in with the darker ones.

Her open coat also showed the black outfit underneath. Bonet has made few public appearances in recent years. Her appearance at the fashion show was therefore a rare outing for the actress.

Speaking to Harper’s Bazaar at the event, she shared her thoughts on Celine creative director Michael Rider and his work. “I love what Michael’s doing,” she said. Bonet praised the freshness and relevance he had brought to the fashion house. She also said fashion can sometimes feel too extreme or out of reach. She explained that some collections can leave people wondering where they could wear the clothes. Rider’s current collection and his earlier work caught her attention, she said.

Lisa Bonet got fame after playing the role of Denise Huxtable on The Cosby Show. She later played the same character in A Different World. She has also appeared in films such as Angel Heart and High Fidelity. Bonet has kept a low profile in recent years, making her appearance at the Celine show a rare public outing.
