Limited edition Vespa, designed by Justin Bieber, can be your at Rs 6.45 lakh

Listen up, Justin Bieber fans! The iconic Vespa gets a new fiery look.

Now, bring home the limited-edition Vespa, designed and ideated by your favourite Canadian pop star.

Piaggio Vehicles, the Indian arm of Italian auto manufacturer Piaggio, launched the JUSTIN BIEBER X VESPA edition on Thursday with a price tag of Rs 6,45,690 lakh (ex-showroom in Mumbai).

For the new scooter, Bieber has opted for a white palette - from the saddle to the grips and the spokes of the rims. The two-wheeler features flames delicately etched onto the front and sides of the vehicle's body. The brand logo and Bieber's name also appear with a tone-on-tone white aesthetic.

The limited-edition scooter comes with the classic 150cc engine and is revamped keeping in mind the most recent environmental regulations.

The scooter features a rectangular headlight, a fully-coloured multifunctional TFT display with smartphone connectivity and 12-inch wheels. At its heart, the model will provide an impressive peak power of 12.5 hp and a maximum torque of 12.4 Nm. The vehicle has been updated with safety features like a 200 mm front disc brake paired with a 140 mm rear drum brake, coupled with a single-channel Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS).

"I love Vespa, and to partner with such a classic brand is so cool. Being able to express myself, whether it's through art, music, visuals, or aesthetics, being able to create something from nothing - it's a part of me. Ultimately the goal in creating and designing is always to put your own unique spin on things," said Bieber said.

The music icon's limited edition Vespa model will be available on pre-order as an imported completely built unit (CBU) in India, according to the company. The pre-booking is available on the official website and all Vespa dealerships in India.

Piaggio Vehicles, which also manufactures the Aprilia range of scooters, said that only a limited single-digit quantity of this model will grace the Indian market.

"We are excited to introduce to India, the collector edition of JUSTIN BIEBER X VESPA that embodies creative drive, vibrancy and vigour - the values shared by both Bieber and Vespa," said Diego Graffi, Chairman and Managing Director of Piaggio Vehicles said in a statement.

The Italian scooter-maker collaborated with Bieber last year in April.
