Limited edition Bond watch up for grabs

Since GoldenEye in 1995, James Bond's signature watch has been an Omega Seamaster. And this time, to coincide with the release of new James Bond film Spectre, Omega is releasing the Omega Seamaster 300 Spectre — the same model that Daniel Craig wears in the film. The timepiece will be available to buy from select Omega boutiques from the first week of September this year and will set you back by £4,785. You'll have to be reasonably quick about it though, as there are only 7,007 pieces on sale (see what they did with the numbers there?)



This is also the first time that a watch worn by James Bond is being released as a 'limited edition' model, with the film name, the 007 gun logo and a unique serial number all engraved onto the watch. As Omega's press release states: "The watch features a bi-directional, rotating diving bezel, made from black, polished ceramic, combined with a LiquidMetal 12 hour scale, so that time can be kept with any country in the world. Other unique features include the 'lollipop' central seconds hands, as well as the 5-stripe black and grey NATO strap."

The watch is also driven by the Omega Master Co-Axial calibre 8400 movement. Sadly, a built-in laser and remote detonator have not been featured.
