Remembering the '102 Not Out' actor, wife Neeutu Kapoor said that even though life will never be the same without Rishi, it will go on.
Sharing a black and white photo of the couple from their younger days, the 62-year-old former actress wrote, "All of last year has been of grief and sadness around the world for us maybe more as we lost him .. Not a day has gone by when we have not discussed or reminisced him as he was an extension of our existence .. sometimes his wise advice:: his wise cracks : his anecdotes !!
"We have celebrated him all year with a smile on the lips as he will stay in our hearts forever," she added.
The actor's daughter Riddhima also remembered her father with an emotional post on Instagram.

Sharing a collage of two pictures - one showing Kapoor holding her as a toddler, and the featuring an adult Riddhima posing with him, she wrote, "If only I could hear you call me mushk once more. 'Until we meet again we think about you always, we talk about you still, you have never been forgotten, and you never will. We hold you close within our hearts and there you will remain, to walk and guide us through our lives, until we meet again.' -- Dorothy Mae Cavendish? I love you always."
The 'Bobby' star passed away in Mumbai on April 30 last year after a two-year battle with leukemia.

Noted actor Rishi Kapoor, a powerhouse of talent, passed away after a two year long battle with cancer.
The actor, who had charmed his way into millions of hearts with his scintillating debut in 1973's 'Bobby', had been diagnosed with cancer in 2018, and underwent treatment in New York for almost a year. He returned home to Mumbai in September 2019.
Born in 1952, Kapoor began his career as a child artiste with roles in his father Raj Kapoor's films, starting with 'Shree 420'. He won the National Award for Best Child Artist for his performance as a younger version of his father in 'Mera Naam Joker'.
While Kapoor's acting prowess is indisputable, the actor also left fans with some evergreen tunes from his films.
