LFW: Vaishali S's collection 'Rabari' showcases rural India
Inspired from the rural tribe that does not believe in permanency, Vaishali S's collection 'Rabari' was a compelling enchanted offering at Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2014.

Talking about her collection, Vaishali said, "When we think of India and remember its festivals, what we recollect are the vibrant colours. This collection justifies that." She also added that Indian textiles are complete comfort and the Indian silhouettes are coming back.
Her collection complied of very peaceful handwoven and handcrafted garments that focused on combinations of designs, textures, fabrics and silhouettes.
The colour story travelled from bold hues of orange, blue, yellow, purple and gold and complemented it with detailed Jacquard Weaves from the holy city, intricate brocade work from Varanasi and Jamdani from West Bengal.
With a great display of layers and contrasts, her collection created a mood of happiness and celebration perfect for the festive and wedding season.
