Let's go surfin' on a Mercedes Benz

Since 2013, Mercedes Benz has launched the surfboard project ' MBoard' with the release of ' The Silver Arrow of The Seas' board designed by BBDO Portugal.

This year, Mercedes has revealed its brand new golden board, made entirely of local cork and created once again by BBDO Portugal for the famous surfer Garrett McNamara.

According to McNamara, "Since Portugal is the world's largest cork producer, it makes perfect sense to use this material to make high-performance surfboards for surfing in Nazaré. When we surf big waves, we need a flexible board, although resistant enough not to break."
