Lenin OTT release date details: Where and when will Akhil Akkineni's Telugu action romance movie stream after theatrical run

Akhil Akkineni is back on the big screen with Lenin, his latest Telugu action drama that released in theatres on July 10. The film has opened to encouraging reviews and a positive response from audiences, with many fans now searching for its OTT release details.

Lenin OTT release: Where will Akhil Akkineni's film stream?

According to Filmibeat, the post-theatrical streaming rights of Lenin have been acquired by the ZEE Network. Once the film completes its run in theatres, it is expected to premiere on ZEE5, although an official streaming date is still under wraps.

However, the makers have not yet announced the official OTT release date or confirmed the streaming platform. Like most recent Telugu releases, the movie is expected to arrive online only after completing its theatrical window. Until then, Lenin remains available exclusively in cinemas.


Apart from digital rights, reports also state that the satellite rights have been secured by ZEE Telugu and ZEE Cinemalu.

Strong opening at the box office

The film has made a promising start at the ticket counters. According to Sacnilk, Lenin earned an estimated Rs 5.90 crore net in India on its opening day from around 2,028 shows across the country. The India gross collection stood at Rs 6.73 crore.

The movie also performed well in overseas markets, collecting around Rs 3 crore gross, taking its worldwide gross collection to nearly Rs 9.73 crore on Day 1.

Some early trade estimates published after release have reported slightly higher figures of around Rs 7.15 crore net in India and a worldwide gross of Rs 11.52 crore. The final numbers are expected to become clearer as the box office tracking is updated.

Cast and crew of Lenin

Directed and written by Murali Kishor Abburu, Lenin is a rural action drama that blends action, family emotions and romance. The story unfolds against a village backdrop and follows a conflict rooted in rural life.

Akhil Akkineni plays the lead role opposite Bhagyashri Borse. The supporting cast includes Pramod Panju, Easwari Rao, Sunil, Getup Srinu and Brahmaji.

The film features music by Thaman S, cinematography by Leon Britto, while National Award-winning editor Navin Nooli has handled the editing. It has been produced by Akkineni Nagarjuna and Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under Manam Enterprises LLP and Sithara Entertainments, and is presented by Annapurna Studios.
