Legal matter settled, now celebration time for Cyril Shroff

Now that the dust has settled in the legal battle between Shardul and Cyril Shroff — managing partners at one of the largest law firms in the country, Amarchand Mangaldas & Suresh A Shroff & Co — it's time for celebrations.

Both siblings were engaged in a tussle over their mother Bharti's will, which left her estate entirely to Shardul. In the eventual settlement, the brothers decided to split the business between them.

Cyril, who wil l take charge of the Mumbai and south India offices while his brother handles Kolkata and the north, will be completing 30 years of marriage with Vandana on May 17. Confirming this to ETPanache, he said, "Vandana and I have a celebration coming up."

Vandana has been known to work closely with her husband. The couple now works together at an L-shaped desk in their Mumbai office. That's love with a capital L.
