24 year old K-Pop idol-actor Lee Jihan passes away during the Seoul Stampede
Lee Jihan was one of the 154 people who lost their lives at the stampede.

The star’s agency 935 Entertainment confirmed that the rumours of ‘The Butterfly Dream’ actor’s demise was indeed true. “It's true that Lee Ji Han passed away due to the accident in Itaewon on October 29," read the statement released on October 30.
The agency representative also requested the public to respect the privacy of Lee’s family. “The family is suffering immense grief right now, so we are being very cautious. May he rest in peace," explained the agency officials through the statement.

Lee was one of the 154 people killed in the stampede. The crowd crush occurred in Itaewon, one of the most popular nightlife districts of Seoul. Thousands of people gathered on the streets to celebrate Halloween, but as the crowd grew bigger a stampede took place.
