Lee Cronin's The Mummy will start streaming in India on Thursday, September 17, 2026. The film will be available on JioHotstar.The movie will stream in English, with dubbed versions available in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. It has a runtime of approximately 2 hours and 14 minutes.
JioHotstar announced the release on X/Twitter with the message, “Don’t watch this one with the lights off.”
What is The Mummy about?
The film follows journalist Charlie Cannon, whose young daughter Katie disappears while the family is in Egypt. The disappearance leaves Charlie and his family searching for answers, but Katie remains missing for eight years.Then, unexpectedly, Katie is found alive inside a sealed coffin.
Her return should have been a happy moment for the family, but it quickly takes a disturbing turn. Katie starts behaving strangely and becomes increasingly violent, while the circumstances surrounding her disappearance remain unexplained.
