'Leaders create other leaders', believes Svatantra Microfinance's Ananya Birla

At the launch of Ananya Birla’s new luxury e-commerce platform, the young leader was in her element. Dressed impeccably in a gold blazer and killer heels, Ananya was looking forward to retaining some of the lessons she’s learnt along the way thanks to her first venture Svatantra Microfinance. “I have learnt a lot, but one of the most important things is your team. Your team is what matters. I am also a firm believer in leaders creating other leaders. Apart from that, you need to have a good emotional quotient and not drift from your vision,” said Kumar Mangalam Birla’s first born.

Ananya was accompanied by her mother Neerja at the event, along with many members of her young team. “Through the brand, we aim to revolutionise the e-commerce space by bringing inaccessible aesthetically appealing products from all around the world to the people in India and also to a global audience,” she said, “We are trying to organise the unorganised market through technology.”.
