Tamil action thriller Leader, starring Legend Saravanan, is now preparing for its OTT release after completing its theatrical run earlier this year. Story revolves around a mechanic hiding a secret mission

The story of Leader follows Sakthivel, also referred to as Shakthivel in some reports, a mechanic living in Thoothukudi with his daughter. His simple life slowly changes after he gets connected to dangerous criminal operations involving harbour-based smuggling, illegal explosives, ammonium nitrate trafficking, and an international mafia network.

As the investigation deepens, the character is forced to reveal parts of his hidden past. The film also presents him as an undercover operative handling a secret mission linked to a planned port attack. Alongside protecting himself, he also tries to keep his family safe from violent gangsters and influential criminal figures.

The movie blends action scenes, emotional father-daughter moments, suspense, and commercial thriller elements throughout its narrative.
