BlackBerry Leap:

Price: Rs 21, 490

Leap is the company’s new full touch smartphone weighing a hefty 170 grams. It has a 5-inch HD display and runs on a quad core Snapdragon S4 plus processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage and 2,800mAh battery. You get a 8MP rear camera capable of full HD video recording, 2MP front camera, microSD slot (up to 128GB supported), 4G, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. The phone comes with BlackBerry OS 10.3.1 and has Amazon’s App store preloaded on it.



Intex Aqua Star II HD:

Another budget dual SIM offering from Intex, the Aqua Star II HD is one of the cheapest smartphones with an HD display. You get a 5-inch IPS display (1280 x 720 pixels) and dual cameras (8MP rear, 5MP front) in a lightweight (125 grams) device. Hardware includes 1.2Ghz quad core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage, microSD slot (up to 32GB supported) and a 2,000mAh battery.

The second smartphone from YU comes with a metal shell, 5-inch HD display (1280 x 720 pixels) and runs Cyanogen OS 12 based on Android 5.0. Inside is a 64-bit quad core processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB storage (expandable) along with a 2,230mAh battery. Selfie lovers get a 5MP front camera while an 8MP camera sits on the back. Other features include 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, dual SIM support and stereo speakers. Weighing 143 grams, the phone will be available exclusively on Amazon India and will go on sale from 28 May 2015 onwards. Yu also announced their entry into the wearable space with a fitness band called YUFit. The band monitors sleep, distance, steps, and has a single line OLED display. It will be available from June 2015.

Huawei Honor 4c & Honor Bee:

Huawei has added two new smartphones to its Honor range. Both phones are dual SIM, run Android 4.4, have 8GB storage, a microSD slot for expansion and offer 3G, WiFi, bluetooth connectivity. The Honor 4c has a 5-inch HD display and is powered by a 1.2Ghz octa core Kirin 620 processor, 2GB RAM and a 2,550mAh battery. It has a 13MP rear camera with dual LED flash and a 5MP front camera for selfies. The Honor Bee is an entry level smartphone with a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels), 1.2Ghz quad core processor, 1GB RAM, 8MP rear camera, 2MP front camera and a 1,730mAh battery.

FujiFilm Instax:

Price: Rs 6,441 onwards

Remember the Polaroid cameras that let you instantly print your photographs? Fujifilm is bringing some of those memories back with the Instax range. The range consists of 4 cameras: Mini 8, Mini 25, Mini 50S & Mini 90. Mini 8 has a compact design and comes with a brightness adjustment dial to switch between modes. Instax Mini 25 is ideal for selfie enthusiasts with its self-snap mirror. Instax Mini 50S has a self-timer mode while the Instax Mini 90 offers advanced features such as bulb mode, double exposures, macro mode and a high performance flash in a retro design. Note that the print paper cartridges are priced at Rs519 (10 exposures).
