The second last week of July is bringing a fresh lineup of South films to OTT platforms. From Tovino Thomas' period action drama Pallichattambi and Arjun Das-Anna Ben's crime comedy Con City to mystery thrillers and dark comedies, audience will have plenty of options to choose from across Netflix, SonyLIV, Prime Video, SunNXT, ETV Win and ManoramaMAX. Here's a look at the latest Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada releases arriving on OTT this week.

Pallichattambi (SonyLIV)
Tovino Thomas' Pallichattambi will begin streaming on SonyLIV from July 24 in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada. Directed by Dijo Jose Antony, the period action drama also stars Kayadu Lohar, Shatru, Vijayaraghavan, Siddique, Baburaj, Nibraz Noushad, TG Ravi, Johny Antony and Prithviraj Sukumaran in a cameo appearance.

Set in late-1950s Kerala, the film follows Krishna Pillai, an orphan raised by Christian and Hindu families after surviving a violent attack as a baby. As an adult, he is recruited by the Church under the name Pothan Christopher. However, after witnessing the hardships faced by villagers, his priorities change. When a powerful landlord returns to take over the village, Krishna Pillai brings people together to fight for their land and future.


Secret of Kalinga (SunNXT)
Secret of Kalinga premieres on SunNXT on July 24. Directed by Saneesh Unnikrishnan, the Malayalam mystery horror-comedy features Dhyan Sreenivasan, Althaf Salim, Riyaz Khan, Nithin Parameswar, Malavika Menon and Mareena Michael Kurisingal.

The story begins when a group of university students accidentally open an ancient well on New Year's Eve. Their actions trigger a series of mysterious events connected to an old kingdom and a rare blood moon eclipse, leading them into a supernatural mystery.

Case of Kondana (ETV Win)
The Kannada thriller Case of Kondana will stream in a Telugu-dubbed version on ETV Win from July 23. Directed by Devi Prasad Shetty, the film stars Vijay Raghavendra, Bhavana, Kushee Ravi, Rangayana Raghu and Sundar Raj.

The story follows Wilson, a newly recruited police officer whose attempt to hide a fatal mistake pulls him into a dangerous web of lies. As his senior officer Lakshmi investigates the case, Wilson struggles to stay ahead while facing the consequences of his actions.

Con City (Netflix)
Con City arrives on Netflix on July 24. Directed by Harish Durairaj in his feature directorial debut, the Tamil film stars Arjun Das, Anna Ben, Yogi Babu and Vadivukarasi.

The crime comedy revolves around four former criminals who leave their past behind and pose as a middle-class family while running a small hotel in Karnataka. As they try to build a new life, unexpected situations threaten to expose their secrets.

Ego Raman (Prime Video)
Tamil drama Ego Raman starts streaming on Prime Video on July 24. Directed by Ganesan Nachimuthu, the film features Ciby Chandran, Robo Shankar, Cheran Raj and Keerthana Shreekumar in key roles.

The story follows Arivu, a determined TNPSC aspirant whose dreams are tested by financial struggles and a tragic incident. Years later, after becoming a government officer, he finds himself in conflict with his former mentor, whose pride creates new challenges in his life.

Triple Decker (ManoramaMAX)
Malayalam indie film Triple Decker will premiere directly on ManoramaMAX on July 24. Directed by Krishnanunni Mangalath, the dark comedy stars Akhil Sreekumaran, Vaishnavi and Gowri Kutty.

The film revolves around a delivery agent who is willing to take huge risks for the woman he loves. What starts as a simple plan soon turns into a chain of unexpected and chaotic events, making for an unusual dark comedy.
