Pavithram Season 2 – JioHotstar
The much-awaited second season of Pavithram begins streaming on JioHotstar on July 13. Directed by Sunil Kariattukara, the Malayalam family drama stars Sreekanth Sasikumar and Surabhi Santosh as Vikram and Vedha. This season moves beyond the couple's journey of rebuilding their relationship and focuses on marriage, parenthood and the emotional challenges that come with starting a family.

Instead of relying on dramatic twists, the new season explores whether a growing family can heal old wounds or bring hidden differences to the surface. Originally a successful television serial, Pavithram now continues its story on OTT with higher emotional stakes.


Second Love (Malayalam Dub) – JioHotstar
Also arriving on JioHotstar on July 13, Second Love is a Tamil dating reality show that is also available with a Malayalam dub. Hosted by Ramya Krishnan and Shrutika Arjun, the series follows 12 singles in their 30s who have experienced heartbreak, failed relationships or divorce.

Unlike typical dating reality shows, Second Love focuses on mature conversations about trust, healing and finding companionship again. Set inside a luxurious villa, the participants get an opportunity to move on from their past while searching for a fresh start.

Maa Inti Bangaaram (Malayalam Dub) – JioHotstar
One of the week's biggest releases is Maa Inti Bangaaram, which starts streaming on JioHotstar on July 17. Directed by B.V. Nandini Reddy, the action-comedy stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Gulshan Devaiah, Diganth Manchale, Gautami Tadimalla, Sreemukhi and others.

The story follows Swarna, an innocent-looking newlywed trying to win over her husband's traditional family. However, she is hiding a dangerous past. When old enemies return, Swarna must protect her loved ones while keeping her secret from tearing the family apart. This Telugu film enjoyed an impressive theatrical run before making its OTT debut.

Chithini – ManoramaMAX
For horror lovers, Chithini promises a chilling supernatural story. The Malayalam horror drama stars Amith Chakalakkal, Vinay Forrt, Mokksha, Johny Antony, Sudheesh and Arathy Nair. It will stream on ManoramaMAX, although the official release date is yet to be announced.

Directed by East Coast Vijayan, the film revolves around the murder of a pregnant woman whose restless spirit returns as the legendary Chithini to seek justice. Blending folklore with mystery and horror, the movie aims to deliver an emotional as well as suspenseful viewing experience.

Revolver Rinko – Saina Play
Another interesting addition this week is Revolver Rinko, which will stream on Saina Play. Directed by Kiran Narayanan, the adventure comedy features Vishnu Unnikrishnan, Lalu Alex, Binu Sasiram, Vijilesh Karayad and Ansha Mohan.

Rather than following a conventional action story, the film revolves around a group of youngsters from a village near Kozhikode who dream of making their own low-budget superhero film. As they work together to turn their idea into reality, they encounter financial struggles, creative challenges and plenty of humorous situations along the way. The film celebrates friendship, ambition and the spirit of independent filmmaking.
