I, Nobody on JioHotstar
Prithviraj Sukumaran leads I, Nobody, a heist action thriller directed by Nissam Basheer. The film follows Rajeevan, an ordinary middle-class employee whose life takes a dramatic turn when he becomes trapped inside a bank during a Rs 17-crore robbery. After the robbers die, Rajeevan finds himself caught in the middle of the case and is treated as the culprit.
Things become even more complicated when his daughter Jia is kidnapped. As he tries to track down both his daughter and the missing money, secrets about Rajeevan's past begin to emerge. Parvathy Thiruvothu, Hakim Shahjahan, Ashokan and Vijayaraghavan are also part of the cast. I, Nobody began streaming on JioHotstar on August 25, 2026.
Lurk on SunNXT
If intense thrillers are more your style, Lurk could be worth adding to your watchlist. Directed by MA Nishad, the film focuses on the growing conflict between humans and wildlife in the forest regions of Kerala.
The story looks at villagers living near reserved forests and the dangers they face as wild animals increasingly enter human settlements. Inspired by real incidents involving tragic animal attacks, the film also raises questions about the impact of environmental disruption and whether humans or animals are truly responsible for the conflict.
Saiju Kurup, Aju Varghese, Anumol K Manoharan, MA Nishad, Alexander Prasanth and Manju Pillai feature in the cast. Lurk started streaming on SunNXT on August 26, 2026.
Pluto on Saina Play
What happens when a directionless man from Kerala suddenly finds himself responsible for an alien? That is the unusual premise of Pluto, a sci-fi comedy starring Neeraj Madhav and Althaf Salim.
The film follows Vicky, a man in his thirties whose failed attempts at finding success have left him dependent on his girlfriend Meera. His ordinary life changes when an alien crash-lands in a Kerala village and loses its spacecraft. Vicky names the alien Pluto and soon discovers that his new companion is just as confused and helpless as he is.
Their friendship turns into an adventure after businessman Tiger Thambi learns about Pluto and decides to capture him for financial gain. Vicky and Pluto must then find a way to escape, recover the spacecraft and help the alien return home. Pluto began streaming on Saina Play on August 24, 2026.
Kerala Underground on ZEE5
Malayalam OTT viewers also have a new reality show to look forward to. Kerala Underground puts the spotlight on the state's emerging hip-hop scene and brings 10 Malayalam rappers together for a competitive musical journey.
Hosted by Aathira Rajeev, the show features rap battles, personal storytelling and elimination rounds. Rappers including Dabzee, MC Couper, Imbachi and Parimal Shais are associated with the show. Instead of following the usual singing-reality format, Kerala Underground focuses specifically on rap culture and the artists trying to make a name for themselves.
The show will begin streaming on ZEE5 on August 28, 2026.
Unmadham on SonyLIV
Kunchacko Boban and Lijomol Jose's Unmadham is the next Malayalam theatrical release making its way to OTT. The film hit cinemas on July 31 and received a decent response from critics.
After completing its theatrical run, the Malayalam film is now set to reach a wider audience through streaming. Viewers who missed it in theatres will be able to watch Unmadham from the comfort of their homes when it premieres on SonyLIV on September 4, 2026.
