Lata Mangeshkar hospitalised: Abhishek Bachchan, Prakash Javadekar, Shobhaa De extend prayers for speedy recovery
The singer is asymptomatic and healthy, said her neice.

According to Dr Pratik Samdhani from the hospital, the legendary singer is also suffering from pneumonia. Hours after the news broke, Mumbai Mayor, Kishori Pednekar informed the media that the singer was asymptomatic and that she is healthy.
Ever since the development, actors, politicians and singers took to social media to wish a speedy recovery for the nightingale of India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi enquired about the health of the celebrated singer after the news came to light.
