Lakme winners set to blaze runways

The winners of the Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2015 have been announced. Ashanti Singh (Germany), Shreya Chaudhry (Mumbai), Madhu Sneha ( Kolkata), Ivana Pesovic ( Serbia), Alice Rosario (Hyderabad) and Jasmeen Johal ( Canada) beat a fray of over 140 applicants to finish on top.

The auditions were held on July 15 at the Palladium Hotel, Mumbai. Saket Dhankar, Vice President and Head, Fashion, IMG Reliance, said: "Lakmé Fashion Week model auditions continue to unearth some of the most talented fresh faces every season. We have identified six promising divas that will add to the runway talent this season."

Purnima Lamba, Head of Innovation, Lakmé, said: "Some of the biggest supermodels of India started their careers with this platform and have now taken to global runways. We look forward to inspire new models and help them transform into the next supermodels of India."




Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2015 introduces 6 fresh faces to the fashion fraternity. And these girls have every reason to celebrate as the competition this year was tough. With over 140 applicants, choosing the winners was no easy feat for the eminent panel. This time, the Mumbai model auditions were held on the 15th of July at the Palladium Hotel, Mumbai.
