Lakme Fashion Week: Comedy meets fashion with Vir Das's collection

Stand up comic turned actor Vir Das has added another feather -- that of a fashion designer -- to his hat. His show at the Jabong Stage at the ongoing Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive was like watching a comedy show live.

Das roped in his friends and fellow comics Aditi Mittal and Ashwin Mushran to keep the audience hooked with backstage commentary even as the models paraded the ramp in his designs.

The show began with a live rap and Bollywood actors like Ali Fazal, Kunal Roy Kapoor, Sophie Choudry, Cyrus Sahukar and Shahzan Padamsee took to the ramp in T-shirts and boxers with witty slogans designed by Das.

Aptly titled ' Weirdass Pret-A-Funny', Das said that the collection was his tribute to anti-fashion at a fashion event. Go figure!
