Television actress Ashlesha Savant, who rose to fame with Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, has officially tied the knot with longtime partner and actor Sandeep Baswana. What makes the wedding even more special is that the couple has been together for 23 years. After over two decades of companionship, the two finally exchanged vows, and the reason behind the timing is deeply personal.

Ashlesha and Sandeep gets married

The wedding took place on November 16, 2025 at the Chandrodaya Temple in Vrindavan. The ceremony was an intimate one with only family members present, as the couple wished to keep their big moment private and spiritually meaningful instead of opting for a star-studded celebration. According to the couple, the choice of venue was not random, Vrindavan holds an emotional significance for them.

During a conversation with ETimes, Sandeep shared that their April visit to Vrindavan proved life-changing. He said that during their time at Radha–Krishna temples, they felt an unexpected spiritual connection that pushed them toward marriage. He added that their parents were thrilled because they had been waiting for this moment for a long time.


Ashlesha shared similar feelings in the interaction, saying she feels genuinely grateful and overjoyed to have married "the love of her life." She described their decision as natural and unplanned, explaining that Vrindavan felt like the perfect place for an important step in their journey.

Sandeep also joked about the pressure the couple constantly faced over the years about when they would get married. He revealed that the question had become so frequent that the two felt "exhausted" answering it. The actor humorously remarked that, in his heart, he had always believed they were married anyway. When asked about how married life feels now, he shared that it does not feel very different.

Born in Pune on September 24, 1984, Ashlesha holds a B.Com degree and began modelling before entering television. Interestingly, she landed her first acting opportunity after casually auditioning for Balaji Telefilms in Pune.


On the other hand, Sandeep Baswana began his acting journey with Kuchh Jhuki Palkain and later worked in Kkoi Dil Mein Hai. His breakout role was Sahil Virani in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, which made him a household name. Over the years, he has appeared in several shows, including Hitler Didi, Udaan, Dil Diyaan Gallaan, and most recently Apollena - Sapno Ki Unchi Udann.
