Bhavana Pandey faced awkward questions on daughter Ananya's relationships on 'KWK:S7'
Star wives Gauri Khan, Bhavana Pandey, and Maheep Kapoor appeared on the Koffee couch in the latest episode of ‘Koffee with Karan: Season 7’. Pandey had to dodge some rather invasive questions about her daughter Ananya’s dating life. During the rapid-fire segment, Bhavana was grilled about her daughter’s relationships including her break-up with her ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ co-star Kartik Aaryan.

During the rapid-fire section, KJo asked, “Who do you think Ananya looks best with?’’ The options he listed included Kartik Aaryan, Ishaan Khattar, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Tiger Shroff. Bhavana tried to play it safe and replied that she thinks her daughter looks best with Aaryan, acts best with Ishaan, and dances best with Tiger.

Johar however was in no mood for diplomacy. After further cross-questioning, Pandey finally admitted that she thought the ‘Gehraiyaan’ actress looked best on-screen with Aaryan, to which KJo responded, “Then why did they break up? They should have kept it together if they looked so good.” Pandey tried to brush off the awkward question with a vague response and said, “Never say never. You never know.”

When asked how she felt about her daughter’s alleged date with her ‘Liger’ co-star Vijay Deverakonda, Bhavana said, “He’s so hot….” Then she checked herself and admitted she “shouldn’t have said that.”

However, it did not stop here.

When Khan warned her daughter not to date two men at the same time, KJo made a catty comment, “I think Ananya had already done that. She was oscillating,” referring to her recent break-up with her ‘Khaali Peeli’ co-star Ishaan Khattar, which came right after the rumours of her fling with Deverakonda. Pandey was quick to come to her daughter’s rescue. “She was not two-timing. She was thinking of two, so she broke up with one,” she added.

Khattar was also quizzed about his break-up with Pandey during his appearance on KWK (episode 7). The ‘Dhadak’ actor decided to play it cool when he was asked to react to the rumours of Pandey’s affair with Deverakonda. He said, “All love, all love.”

Before Kareeena Kapoor Khan and Priyanka Chopra Jonas appeared on the show together, the two ladies had a few catty things to say about each other during their separate appearances, And that was one of the reasons that led to the famous Bebo wondering-aloud-moment: "Where does PeeCee get her accent from?"

But things did not end there. KJo being his classic self, asked Chopra the hard-hitting question during her appearance on the talk show, to which the 'Fashion' star gave a fitting reply: "The same place her boyfriend gets it from". At that time, Kareena Kapoor was dating Saif Ali Khan.

Well, this has to be one of the most savage moments on Johar's talk show and a well- planned one, at that.

Salman Khan is called the 'Dabangg' of Bollywood and it's not a secret that the beefy actor likes to keep his personal life a secret, especially his romantic life. KJo still pushed, and wanted to know more. And what the actor said in response kept social media buzzing for a few weeks. Well, if you want to do a flashback, maybe it is time to do a KWK recap, we think.

It was all jokes and fun until it wasn't. Sure, every appearance on ‘Koffee with Karan’ had been ‘full of spice and sometimes, a few things nice’ but never did an episode start a battle or a whole moment like the one featuring Kangana Ranaut. When the 'Queen' star appeared on the talk show alongside Saif Ali Khan, audiences were glued to their screens.

While the show started on a lovely note with Johar giving a long appreciative introductory speech for Ranaut, it took a drastic turn soon enough as the actress took the couch. During the rapid fire round, Ranaut unlocked the savage mode and started the nepotism talk with one remark: "In my biopic, if ever it’s made, you’ll play that stereotypical Bollywood biggie, who is like you know…very snooty and completely intolerant towards outsiders, flag bearer of nepotism, the movie mafia.” A comment that Johar had to face on several occasions during interviews and public appearances months after the episode aired.

The episode from season one that featured Kareena Kapoor Khan and Rani Mukherjee is one of the iconic ones as the two actresses said a lot of sassy things, one of which was Mukherjee's comment on Preity Zinta "talking too much". Through KJo's show, the 'Chalte Chalte' star made a suggestion to Zinta, saying that the actress should talk less and that she has an opinion on about everything, which she should refrain from exercising.

But that was not all. During the rapid fire round, Bebo had some spice to add, too, even if it meant on behalf of Mukherjee. Johar had asked Mukherjee the one thing that she has that Kareena Kapoor doesn't, to which Bebo quickly replied: "Yash Chopra".
