‘Kota Factory' Season 3 release date out! Check where and when to watch the Netflix series

‘Tis the season of comebacks it seems! Days after the third season of ‘Panchayat’, the most popular Indian show on Prime Video, premiered, The Viral Fever has announced the release date of the third season of another of their hit web series ‘The Kota Factory’.

According to a News18 report, the third season of ‘Kota Factory’ will premiere on Netflix on June 20. On Thursday, Jitendra Kumar aka Jeetu Bhaiya asked his followers to solve a math problem and revealed that the answer holds the clue to the release date! Some of the fans successfully managed to decode the math problem.

Incidentally Kumar also headlines ‘Panchayat’.


Like the previous two seasons, the new season of ‘Kota Factory’ will explore the tribulations of students who are desperate to crack exams such as IAS or CAT. Kumar’s character Jeetu Bhaiyya will also come to terms with his role as a mentor to the competitive exam hopefuls. The ensemble cast includes veteran names such as Mayur More, Ranjan Raj, Alam Khan, Revathi Pillai, Ahsaas Channa, and Rajesh Kumar.

About ‘Kota Factory’

Created by Raghav Subbu and directed by conceptualised by Saurabh Khanna, ‘Kota Factory’ is a tongue-in-cheek yet brutal observational comedy about how an entire generation sacrificed their well-being to pursue the dream of cracking entrance exams. Set in Kota, a city in Rajasthan, the show follows the life of Vaibhav (played by Mayur More), a 16-year-old aspiring to join the prestigious IIT, who is diligently preparing for the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) at a coaching center. Initially premiering in 2019 on TVF Play and YouTube, the series gained popularity and was later acquired by Netflix India for its second season in 2021. The show also features Ahsaas Channa in a prominent role.

In an interview with News 18, Subbu revealed the secret behind the popularity of the web series. “I believe everyone can see bits and pieces of themselves within the show. That’s what makes it so special. Season 3, at its core, is about the painful yet necessary journey of growing up, where each character, including the all-knowing Jeetu Bhaiya, embarks on their path of self-discovery. Thanks to our amazing partnership with Netflix, we were able to craft a third season that felt true to the story we’ve always wanted to tell,” he told the publication.
