Konkona Sen Sharma & Ranvir Shorey announce separation

MUMBAI: Bollywood actress Konkona Sensharma and actor husband Ranvir Shorey have decided to mutually part ways after five years of marriage.

The couple, who are parents to four-year-old son Haroon, took to their respective Twitter accounts to announce their split that follows prolonged speculation surrounding the state of their marriage.

Konkona, 35, posted on Twitter:

Ranvir and I have mutually decided to separate, but continue to be friends and co-parent our son. Will appreciate your support. Thank you.

Ranvir's statement read,

Konkona and Ranvir, 43, started dating in 2007. The couple got married in 2010 in a private ceremony.

They have starred together in films like "Traffic Signal", "Mixed Doubles", "Aaja Nachle" and "Gour Hari Daastan."
