Kollam Sudhi dies in a freak accident; Tovino Thomas, Vineeth, Jeethu Joseph mourn mimicry artist's demise

According to an ETimes report, the ‘Star Magic’ actor was travelling along with his friends - mimicry artist Binu, Adimali, Ullas, and Mahesh, when their car crashed into a goods carrier at Kaipamangalam, Thrissur ( Kerala) on Monday (June 5). The 39-year-old sustained a fatal head injury. He was rushed to the hospital but could not be saved. His companions though survived and are currently under treatment.
According to local reports, the actor was returning after attending a programme in Vadakara.
A police report summed up the accident in an interview with PTI. “It was a head-on collision. All of them were taken to the hospital. The other three are undergoing treatment,” told the police to the news agency.
Many celebs from the Malayalam film industry, took to social media to mourn Sudhi’s demise. ‘Minnal Murali’ star Tovino Thomas shared a picture of the actor and left some hearty condolences on his Instagram handle. ‘Kadhal Desam’ actor Vineeth wrote a moving tribute to the late actor on his Instagram page and described him as “an extempore actor with a good sense of humour timing.”
Director Jeethu Joseph (who directed the Mohanlal starring blockbuster ‘Drishyam’) wrote that he was feeling “shocked” at the unexpected demise.
