Kohli wants to congratulate Mithali Raj for ODI record, posts Punam Raut pic instead and later deletes post
Widespread social media criticism led to the captain deleting his post.

However, while the effort was laudable, Kohli goofed up the post by putting up a picture of Punam Raut instead of Raj in the congratulatory message on Facebook.
Widespread social media criticism led to the captain deleting his post.
Kohli, who is currently holidaying in New York, had posted a photograph of Punam on his official Facebook page with a message for Mithali that read, "A great moment for Indian Cricket, Mithali Raj becomes the highest run scorer in Women's ODI Cricket History today. Champion Stuff!"
Mithali, during her knock of 69 during India's ongoing World Cup group match against Australia at Bristol, got past Edwards's mark and also became the first woman to breach the 6000-run mark.
Most of current female cricketers are way behind Mithali in the number of runs she has amassed. The International Cricket Council ( ICC) also congratulated the India women's captain.
