Kiara Advani & Sidharth Malhotra tie the knot in an intimate wedding at Jaisalmer palace

It's time for the fans to rejoice as Bollywood's new favourite couple Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani tied the knot on Tuesday in Jaisalmer, putting an end to months of speculation.

Just like every other Bollywood couple, the newlyweds shared pictures from their special day, surrounded by family and close friends, on social media.

In matching posts, the duo said that they seek blessings and love from their fans and friends on their journey ahead.

Both their posts read, "Ab humari permanent booking hogayi hai." (We are now booked for life)

The ETimes reported that the traditional wedding ceremony took place at Suryagarh Palace in the presence of close friends and family members.

The big fat celebrity wedding had a little of everything, from 'band', 'baaja' and 'baraat' to a high-profile guest list.

According to a news agency ANI report, the couple got married as per Hindu traditions. The groom's side had booked the popular 'Jea' wedding band from Delhi, which reached the wedding venue on Tuesday. As per Hindi wedding rituals, Malhotra rode a white 'ghodi' (horse) for his royal wedding entry.

Earlier in the day, several visuals had been circulating online in which men, dressed in pink Sherwani, walked to the wedding venue, holding umbrellas decorated with flowers.

Reports suggested that the pre-wedding festivities started on Saturday with haldi and mehendi. The chuda ceremony and musical night were planned for Monday.

The guest list includes Isha Ambani, Anand Piramal, Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra, Shahid Kapoor, Mira Rajput and Juhi Chawla, among many others. To ensure privacy is maintained, the couple issued a 'no photos or videos' rule for the guests.

The couple met on the sets of 'Shershaah', which was released in 2021, and fell in love. They often were spotted spending quality time together, which gave fuel to the dating rumours.

Kiara-Sidharth always stayed tight-lipped about their relationship. They neither accepted nor denied the relationship rumours.
