Ketto co-founder is an Apple fanboy, practises digital detox an hour before bedtime
Zaheer Adenwala shares how gadgets have become an integral part of his life.

"During the initial phase of the lockdown, I used to spend a lot of my ‘me’ time either on my phone or iPad to consume news or entertainment content. Quickly, I realised that I need to cut down on my screen-time so I made a habit of one hour of digital detox in a day," he says.
Adenwala thinks he can’t live without his phone as we live in a digital era where you need to be responsive and be on the edge all the time.
Must Haves
"I believe my phone is an integral part of my professional life as it is convenient to work even when I am traveling. The second would be my Apple watch, it is quite a versatile gadget, I get all my emails, texts, and other notifications sent directly to my wrist so I always know what's going on with my business. Additionally, it really helps me to track my daily workout sessions, physical activities, heart rate, and sleep cycle. It is like the ultimate wellness and fitness pal which keeps motivating me for a healthy lifestyle," he says.
Adenwala is sort of an Apple fanboy. Currently, he is using an iPhone 12 Pro. "I love the GUI of iOS. I choose the iPhone over other phones because it helps me multitask. iPhones don't freeze while downloading several files or running multiple tools, which is a great benefit. Another significant advantage of an iPhone is the security, Apple has implemented multiple advanced security features in their devices. Thanks to the advanced security features, the iPhone is less likely to put my private data in danger. One more significant benefit of Apple gadgets I like the most is smart synchronization, as all Apple devices are linked with the same Apple ID. This makes storing and synchronizing my files quite convenient, easy to excess even when I am not in front of my PC.
Adenwala's current gadget fascination is the Oculus VR headset.
"Virtual Reality is a very intriguing technology for me and I love gaming, so I'm currently enjoying this experience. The headset is self-contained and wireless; great touch controllers; great high-resolution display and built-in speakers; It also allows me to experience my gaming moves such as slash, throws, and grabs. It also gives me the flexibility of some physical activity; I can choose to stand or sit. The VR headset offers me the best gaming experience," he says.
App Tap
Primarily, he uses applications such as Slack, Asana, and Google Drive for his work. "Slack is useful in promoting a flat working culture as it reduces emails (which is a very formal way of communication) and allows us an instant connection with our team. Asana helps me to keep track of my team project and tasks so that we can efficiently manage the deadlines.
The Ketto.org co-founder has been using an Apple watch since 2015 and still wears one. "It has really helped me keep a track of my activities and also helps in setting higher goals every once in a while, which pushed me to achieve more. I use a 2021 Macbook Pro and a 27inch LG monitor as my workstation. I use the apple keyboard and trackpad as well. I use the Microsoft Office suite for most of my tasks in addition to certain productivity tools," he says.
