Kendall Jenner joins flubbers club
Kardashian sister and model Kendall Jenner joined the gang of famous flubbers at the Billboard Awards 2014, on Sunday. On stage to introduce Aussie band 5 Seconds of Summer, the 21-year-old fumbled, probably as a result of the autocue failure, and began to introduce rival band One Direction. “This summ ... And now we welcome ... One...” Kendall said, before realising the mistake. Totally embarrassed, she declared, “Guys, I’m the worst reader.” Later she blamed the incident on the fact that she was not wearing her contact lenses

John Travolta

At the Oscars this year, John Travolta was caught flubbing Frozen star Idina Menzel’s name while introducing her. While he started off well, he seemed to lose grasp of the language mid-way and refer red t o Menzel as “Adele Dazeem”. Host Ellen DeGeneres later made up for the lapse with her wit. After Menzel’s performance of Let it Go, she repeated her name properly twice.

Sofia Vergara

The Modern Family’s funny woman, fumbled while reading out a list of names at the 2011 Golden Globe awards. Her task was to present nominations for the Best Director category. Michel Hazanavicius is a hard name to pronounce, so when she read it as “Hazanaveeshesh”, she was easily pardoned. But she went downhill after that and r e ad Martin Scorsese’s name as “Marteena Scorsays”.
