Kaun Banega Crorepati 18 release date now out. When and where to register for quiz show hosted by Amitabh Bachchan

The wait is over. ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ the evergreen quiz show hosted by Amitabh Bachchan, will be returning to the small screen in August. As per a PTI report, the show will premiere on Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV on August 10.

The superstar shared the good news on Instagram on Saturday and said the show will have a new theme, "Sochna Padega".

The campaign, titled "Sochna Padega," is brought to life through a series of brand films that emphasise the value of applying knowledge in real-life situations. Featuring familiar day-to-day scenarios, the campaign conveys that although information is available instantly and technology has revolutionised learning, genuine success depends on the ability to think independently, evaluate facts critically, and adjust thoughtfully to an ever-changing world, the makers said in a press statement.

Amitabh Bachchan has been the face of "Kaun Banega Crorepati" since its debut in 2000, with the only exception being the third season in 2007, when Shah Rukh Khan took over as host.

According to Sony LIV, there are two registration processes through which a registrant can participate in KBC 18.

Who can register for CFE?

To qualify for CFE registration, participants must meet the following eligibility requirements:

They must be Indian citizens.
They should be currently residing in India.
They must be 18 years of age or older as of March 9, 2026.
They should be of sound physical and mental health.
They must participate personally, as proxy or third-party participation is not permitted.
Who is not eligible?

A person cannot register for CFE if:

They have qualified for the Audition Round more than once across any schedule or season of the show.
They have already reached the Hot Seat in any previous season of the Hindi edition of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC).

8591975331. Only the first valid entry will be considered for further shortlisting irrespective of the mode of entry used. All registrations from the WhatsApp application will be free of cost, however data charges may apply.

According to a Jagran report, registrations for the 18th season of KBC will be open from July 9 to July 24. Previously, registrations were open from March 9 to March 27.
