Katy Perry to release new single next month

LOS ANGELES: Singer Katy Perry will release her new single next month.

The 31-year-old "Fireworks" songstress has confirmed that a follow-up to her 2013 album "Prism" is in the works and she also plans to tour in 2017, reported Aceshowbiz.

RJ Mike Adam claimed that the singer's lead single for her fifth studio album would be unveiled in August.

Her fourth studio album "Prism" peaked the charts with hit singles including " Roar" and " Dark Horse."
