Kartik Aaryan visits Siddhivinayak temple, seeks blessings of Lord Ganesha for 'Satyaprem Ki Katha' release

Bollywood heartthrob Kartik Aaryan, who comes from a religious family, visited the Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai to seek Lord Ganesha's blessings for his romantic film 'Satyaprem Ki Katha'.

Taking to Instagram, the 'Shehzada' of Bollywood shared a picture of himself from the temple and wrote, "Overwhelmed with your pure love."

For the temple visit, the 32-year-old actor wore a powder-pink shirt and a pair of denim trousers and paired it with a traditional yellow religious stole wrapped around his neck.

Touted as a progressive film, 'Satya Prem Ki Katha was released in the theatres on Friday (June 30).

Meanwhile, Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra was impressed with his actress-wife Kiara Advani's performance in 'Satya Prem Ki Katha' and penned an appreciation post on Thursday night.

"A love story with a relevant social message, filled with great performances from the entire cast but Katha you have my heart. Kiara Advani, so happy that you chose to play this character. Such an impactful and nuanced performance. Kudos to you and the entire team," he wrote on his Instagram Story.

Kiara reshared Sid's post and replied, "Thank you, my love."

Later, Advani also shared a note of gratitude. "Feeling extremely emotional reading all the reviews. Katha has been a very special character to me with a crucial message and today seeing you all give her so much love makes my heart so full," she wrote in her caption.

The film was earlier titled 'Satyanarayan Ki Katha' which translates to the story of Satyanarayan, which is another name for the Hindu God Vishnu. However, after backlash, it was renamed 'Satyaprem Ki Katha'.

Helmed by Sameer Vidhwans and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film revolves around the love story of SatyaPrem (Aaryan) and Katha (Advani). It also stars Supriya Pathak Kapur, Gajraj Rao, Siddharth Randheria, Anooradha Patel, Rajpal Yadav, Nirrmite Saawaant and Shikha Talsania.

The film marks the duo's second collaboration after the blockbuster 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2', released in 2022.

In the coming months, Kiara is expected to share screen space with 'RRR' star Ram Charan in the upcoming Game Changer project. On the other hand, Aaryan is prepping for Hansal Mehta's next 'Captain India' and will also be seen in Kabir Khan's next untitled project.
