Kareena Kapoor Khan has completed 18 years in the film industry.
Kareena Kapoor Khan has never been one to play by the rules, whether it was saying no to 'Kaho Na Pyaar Hai' to debut with 'Refugee', or taking to the runway while she was pregnant and returning to it just 45 days after giving birth.
It's not just her choices that make her a class apart, her acting prowess places her, rightfully, at the top of the charts.
She may have made her foray into films when sister Karisma was ruling, but this Kapoor managed to make her own place away from her shadow. She wowed us with her performance in 'Chameli' at just 22, and Geet from 'Jab We Met' till date remains one of Bollywood's most loved characters, the star's 18 years in Bollywood have given us plenty of characters to love her for.
But the actress is in no mood to stop.
As she turns 38, here's a look at the star's upcoming projects, which, frankly, we can't wait for:
After a long gap of working with friend Karan Johar, the actress will once again be directed by him for his Dharma production 'Takht'. Kareena Kapoor Khan stars opposite Ranveer Singh in the period drama that also features Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar, Vicky Kaushal, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor. With a screenplay is by Sumit Roy, the film is set in the Mughal era.
'Good News' Kareena Kapoor Khan will return to star opposite Akshay Kumar after 2009's 'Kambakkht Ishq' in this Dharma production. The film, being directed by debutante Raj Mehta, will reportedly also feature Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani.
