Karan Singh Grover, who fell prey to an online lottery scam and coughed up around Rs 7 lakh as processing fee to claim his " prize money" last month, says that he paid the price for "being a very trusting guy".

Grover has advice to anyone tempted by such fake offers. "It's important that one goes to the cops and files a complaint," he says. "There's no reason to hide it from the world or be ashamed about it as it could happen to the best of us."

Admitting that his friends and family members chided him for "being silly" after the incident came to light, Grover says that he has faith in the system and is not yet giving up hope.

On the bright side, Grover is on cloud nine, having got an opportunity to work with his rumoured girlfriend Bipasha Basu yet again. He'll be the face of fashion designer Rocky S's new collection which will soon be available at Shoppers Stop. "I feel blessed," he says about his new association.
