MUMBAI: Filmmaker Karan Johar today turned 43 and got birthday wishes from his "Student of the Year" actors Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt.

Varun dedicated his newly-released song from upcoming movie "ABCD 2" to celebrate his first director's 43rd birthday.

Aptly titled "Happy Birthday", the song marks Varun's debut as a rapper. It starts with a birthday party for choreographer-actor Punit Pathak and then moves to behind-the-scenes of the "Badlapur" star rapping in a studio.

Johar, who made his full-fledged acting debut this year with Anurag Kashyap's period drama "Bombay Velvet", was also wished by Alia and Sidharth.
