Karan Johar's 'Koffee With Karan' has been stirring controversy for a while now, thanks to an episode featuring cricketers Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul. The two were suspended following their 'sexist' and 'misogynistic' comments on the producer, director's talk show.

At present, Johar is in Davos at the World Economic Forum. Yesterday, he said that he felt responsible for the fate of the two cricketers who came on his show. Johar said that he because invited them as guests on his show, the ramifications and repercussion of the show were his responsibility.

While, Johar was reeling under this guilt, the Committee of Administrators (CoA)today revoked the suspension orders on the two cricketers.

Karan Johar who is currently in Davos was extremely happy to her this news. In an exclusive to CNBC TV 18, he said, "I'm relieved. I'm grateful to the forces that have lifted the ban from two incredible players who have errored in judgement, as have I and I'm older, if I could, they are much younger. And, sometimes the young and the restless should be forgiven and given another chance."

The film-maker had earlier said that he has had sleepless nights, wondering how to do undo the damage. However, this is a thing of the past now and the cricketers will be back on the turf.

The 25-year-old Pandya is expected to take the earliest available flight to join the team in New Zealand for an ongoing limited-overs series, while Rahul might play in either the domestic circuit or show up for India A in the home series against England Lions.
